The Cube in Milan: Pop-Up Restaurant by Electrolux
The Cube in Milan is the latest pop-up restaurant and it has landed high above the city’s Piazza del Duomo. Much like Nomiya Restaurant in Paris, the temporary installation made of transparent and semi-transparent materials is set to woo diners with gastronomic delights of a rotating team of resident chefs and members of the Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe.
Created by Electrolux, the intimate dining experience has a communal dining table which is suspended from the ceiling then lowered during the meal.
With only 18 seats per sitting, bookings are essential and can be made online via the website.
The Cube in Milan is open daily for lunch (1.00-3.30pm) and dinner (9pm to midnight) and runs from 19December 2010 to 26 April 2012.
