When it comes to cocktails, Zeta Bar in Sydney is known for serving innovation in elegant surrounds. Located in the heart of the city on the fourth floor of the Hilton Hotel, the swanky bar attracts a smart local clientele as well as international celebrities.
Inside the stylish drinks venue with dark wood panelling, velvet furnishings and long drapes over banquettes, you’ll find long bar tables with bar stools for when you’re with the after work crowd and smaller tables for a more intimate ambience. The open veranda overlooks the domes of the Queen Victoria Building just across the road and offers a rare view extending down the length of George Street below.
The cocktail menu draws on the experimental and inventive. Here you’ll find contemporary trends in grilled cocktails such as a Burnt Lemon and Vanilla Margarita as well as daring takes on classics. The Smoked Bacon and Maple Syrup Manhattan is made with smoky bacon infused bourbon, a dash of maple syrup, a splash of cherry syrup and sweet and dry vermouth. Served in a Martini glass with crispy bacon on top, the cocktail comes with instructions to nibble on the bacon before you sip on the drink.
Smoked bacon never tasted this good.
