Laphroaig Live 2011 Coming Down Under


For the first time in the Southern Hemisphere, Laphroaig Live will be broadcasting its famous annual whisky program on Sydney’s harbour with the iconic Opera House as a backdrop.

Now in its fifth year, the live webcast is set to unite whisky fans from around the world. Previous Laphroaig Live events included broadcasts from Jerez, Kentucky, Islay and London with over 100,000 people joining in.

Laphroaig Distillery Manager, John Campbell, will be flying into Sydney for the event. And to add an Aussie flavour, invited guests will be treated to a traditional Aussie barbeque with a Laphroaig Barbeque Sauce and Laphroaig Whisky Butter especially created for this event. Laphroaig whisky is known for its earthy aroma of peat smoke with the sweet nuttiness of barley.

Laphroaig Live will take place on Thursday, 6th October 2011 at 20:00 EST (GMT +11) and you can tune in to to be part of the experience.
